Playlist for the month of november 2013

What's up bros what it do? First ever Playlist and I debated on how to do this as I wanted to originally do a actual playlist but that did not work due to the disparate music styles I am going to put up here. I settled on 7-10 songs of different tone that I am listening to this week. Some will be new like that week new and others will be hidden gems that are a bit older. Also a review if it is applicable such as this weeks brief review of Action Bronson's "Blue Chips 2".
Blue Chips 2 by Action Bronson with Party Supplies I LOVE this dude for one he is from Queens the secondly he is from North Queens(there's a huge difference) then he sounds like Ghost face killa a lot. While Ghost face was very abstract to the point of street Dadaism Action is a punch line machine(I am in these streets like a bum shit)and makes every song sound like he is rapping for his life. I like pretty much the whole album the Party supplies(more on them in a bit) production is very sparse and samples WCBS level music and one song which is a medley of 80,s songs(sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel gets a turn) The only fault I find in this and any Action Bronson outing is that it sounds very free styled which is fine if you are just starting out but he should be past that lo fi shit by now. It sounds as if he is going into the studio and smoking up and just letting it rip which sounds kind of amateurish at this stage of his career. Its a free tape so that's a small complaint I say if you haven't heard this yet run don't walk to datpiff and get on this asap and thank me when you do. Playlist
1)Ben Jamin "Levitate" Lo Fi goodie that works well on either side of your commute very quality track if you are into atmospheric music
2)Duncan Gerow "Miguel X Evil Needle Mash-up Do You" This Is so fucking dope! The love I have for Evil Needle is large and I love the track(Qualia) but having Miguel vocal on it leads to a butta smooth combo that can and will lead to babies being made you have been warned. 3)Action Bronson "Contemptary Man" I was just talking about the album but this cut is severe. He is spitting on like 5 1980,s songs and killing it as if he would die if he didn't and it shines on a LP that is all shine.
4)Duckwrth "Fukushima" I like this guy he is like a less annoying Danny Brown to me and get a few of his tracks this month and letting them sit in the shuffle before I go all in. So far this song is the best and coincidentally the newest one. Give it and him a whirl I think you will like it.
5)Django Django "Waveforms" This WHOLE album is great it feels old in the best possible way like 60-70,s rock at its most experimental finest. It is trippy but not to the point of silliness and takes risks but not for the sake of taking risks. This song in particular makes you want to move and that is always a good thing.
Johbim "Wave" I will always have a Bossa Nova track on the list that's a not for debate. This is a lovely track by Antonio Johbim the master of the groove in my opinion and this works at any point of your day or night or mood. Pop this into a Pandora station and only this and wait for unlimited samba goodness
